Competition Marti Hotel near Airport Stuttgart

This competition is about a new hotel next to the airport of Stuttgart. The design of a simple open space was important here. The small Park is the green center of the site, which connects all areas on the ground floor. Seating and refreshment stations as well as the terrace of the adjacent "Restaurant" invite to linger and network. In addition the Park offers the perfect ambience for a small event. This can take place either as a supporting program for the hotel or as an independent event.

Here people can come together located in the heart of Europe not far away from the airport of Stuttgart. World market leaders from all sectors can meet medium-sized hidden champions and exciting start-ups here, so new business are created. Near to the Hotel we can also find “Messe Stuttgart”, which is is an exhibition and trade center and also the ninth biggest in Germany. Everything is close to the A8 autobahn (motorway) which can get you in some minutes to the city centre.

The City of Stuttgart is also accessible by the local suburban railway network which is underneath the Airport. Part of the Stuttgart 21 project is to link the trade fair centre and the airport between Stuttgart and Ulm.
